The majestic antique Greek city of
Ephesus is the best-preserved
and restored ancient city in Turkey.
It is known to be the Commercial,
Religious and Social Centre of
Antiquity. Your day will begin with
a visit to The Temple of Artemis,
one of the Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World. Continue and
explore the ancient city of
Ephesus with its Great
Theatre with a capacity of
24.000 spectators and Celsus
Library, the Fountains of
Trajan, the Temple of Hadrian
and Domitian, the Private
Houses, the Basilica of St.
John and the nearby
Archaeological Museum. Later you
will visit the House of the
Virgin Mary, where she spent her
final days.
